Freilaw is an online law journal made by a group of German Law Students based in Freiburg, Germany.
Project goals
Create Cover Art, which would indicate the current issues theme (construction zone: Employment law) along with the specific topics of the journal in a clear way.
Creative solution
The Idea was to target the title from a visual perspective, taking into account the current Employment laws and the journals main storys. While working on the artwork we decided to use multiple construction signs symbolizing a pile of unfinished work. Every sign showed a law section or storys title. We used the official typeface for construction signage: DIN1451 Engschrift.
